If you found yourself nodding along, you’re in the right place.
You’re not broken. Your sleep isn’t beyond help.
And you don’t have to keep pushing through on your own.
If you’re here, chances are you’ve been struggling with your sleep for far too long.
Many of my clients tell me the same thing: “I just wish I’d found you sooner.”
Sleep problems have a way of creeping in, becoming normal, and then quietly taking over your energy, your mood, your confidence, your life. And the longer they go on, the harder it feels to know where to start.
At Ashby Sleep Solutions, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I offer calm, evidence-based sleep support grounded in clinical science and real-world understanding.
You will be listened too, taken seriously, and guided through practical, personalised steps that actually make a difference, without pressure, blame, or overwhelm.
Whether you’ve been battling insomnia, sleep anxiety, circadian rhythm problems, CPAP difficulties, neurodivergent sleep, or complex sleep conditions, help is available — and it’s often much simpler than you think once you have the right support.
Most people who come to me have already tried everything, Apps, Supplements, Sleep hygiene, GP visits and Online courses.
And they are exhausted, not just from poor sleep, but from not being properly heard.
What works differently, it's simple: I take your sleep seriously.
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Sleep Scientist, with advanced training in CBT-I and the neuroscience of sleep and mental health. I work with complex cases every day — including insomnia, sleep anxiety, neurodivergent sleep, circadian rhythm disorders, CPAP therapy, and chronic sleep disruption — and I understand how deeply sleep affects every part of your life.
But science alone isn’t enough. You will be met with calm, patience, and genuine understanding.
There is no rushing, no judgement, and no one-size-fits-all approach.
We work together to untangle what is actually keeping your sleep stuck, and build a plan that fits your life, your nervous system, and your goals.
Most of my clients tell me two things: - They feel relieved, and usually wish they had started sooner.
If your sleep has been affecting your energy, your mood, your work, or your confidence, now is the time to take that first step.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong.
You just need to start the conversation.
Most people tell me they feel a sense of relief simply from being properly listened to — and that real change begins from there.
Because better sleep shouldn’t have to wait.
These are real people who came to me exhausted and at their limit. Here's what happened. Names are anonymised to protect confidentiality.
I'd had insomnia for four years. I'd tried everything — apps, supplements, sleep hygiene, two different GPs. Nothing worked. After six sessions with Louise I was sleeping through the night. I genuinely didn't think that was possible for me anymore. I cried at my last session because I couldn't believe how different I felt.

My daughter was having nightmares every single night. She was terrified of going to bed and so were we. Louise was so calm and patient with her — she made the whole thing feel safe and manageable. Within three sessions the nightmares had almost completely stopped. It changed our family's life.

I was on CPAP but struggling to use it — I kept taking the mask off in the night without realising. Louise spent a full hour going through everything with me. She looked at my machine data, adjusted my settings, and explained things my NHS clinic had never had time to cover. I now use it every night without even thinking about it.

I obtained my PGDIp in Sleep Medicine from Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute (SCNi), in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, at the University of Oxford. This course covered neurophysiology and anatomy, sleep breathing disorders, parasomnias, circadian rhythms and hypersomnolence.
This course covered all the fundamentals of CBTi and the mechanisms and physiology around it. This was taught by Professor Jason Ellis, Professor of Sleep Science at Northumbria University and Director of the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research
The Insomnia treatment - CBTi was a core component of the PGDiploma in Sleep Medicine that I studied. Here I studied under Professor Colin Espie who is Founding Director/ Clinical Director Experimental & Clinical Sleep Medicine Programme, Sleep & Circadian Neurosciences Institute, University of Oxford.
This is the next level of CBTi Taught by Professor Ellis but also the other greats in CBTi , Michael Perlis , Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania and Don Posner Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine.
