Together, we will explore the factors affecting your sleep and create a personalised CBT-I plan designed around your needs. Most people benefit from 4–6 sessions, gaining practical tools and strategies to help them achieve more restful, restorative sleep.

Struggling with nightmares

Recurring nightmares can leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, and afraid of falling asleep. Whether they’re linked to past experiences, trauma, or long-standing sleep disruption, the emotional toll is real—and you don’t have to face it alone.

 I offer Image Rehearsal Therapy (IRT), a proven technique behavioural technique designed to reduce the frequency and intensity of nightmares. 

IRT is non-invasive, trauma-informed, and often effective within just a few sessions.

Nightmares in Children

Nightmares can make bedtime frightening and exhausting for both children and parents.
Whether triggered by stress, change, illness, or past experiences, the impact on sleep and emotional wellbeing can be significant.

I  now offer CBT-based Nightmare Treatment and Imagery Rescripting  Therapy for children and young people . Two gentle, evidence-based approaches that helps your child change the story of their nightmare so the brain can let go of fear and feel safe again.

This child-friendly, trauma-informed therapy is non-invasive and often effective within just a few sessions.

If nightmares are taking over your child’s sleep, calm and confident nights are possible again.

Sleep Screening Test

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

I have been performing and analysing respiratory sleep studies for over 3 decades in the NHS. 

Sleep apnoea screening sleep test is performed in your home over one night to obtain the best results. The equipment used measures your breathing, oxygen levels and heart rate throughout the night. I then explain the results and provide you with a full report for you which you can give to your GP. If you require treatment for your sleep apnoea then we discuss how to move forward with that therapy.


Device is worn for two nights

Concerned about your sleep-wake cycle?  Do you fall asleep outside of societal norms?  Actigraphy is an effective tool that provides valuable insights into your sleep patterns. This service is now available to help you understand your sleep better.  Book two weeks of measurements and a clinical report. Also includes a Sleep consultation.

Struggling with CPAP? You're Not Alone – I'm Here to Help

Starting or maintaining CPAP therapy can be challenging, especially when NHS support feels limited or rushed. I offer personalised, one-to-one guidance to help you feel confident and comfortable with your treatment.

I’ll take the time to walk you through your CPAP machine, ensure your mask is the right fit, and address any concerns or difficulties you may have.

If you've developed insomnia while using CPAP, I can help you restore your sleep. My approach combines practical support with proven strategies to help you sleep soundly and wake feeling refreshed – all while continuing your essential therapy. 


We will spend an hour reviewing your CPAP usage and the practical application of using your CPAP. 


If you choose to privately purchase a CPAP I can offer ongoing support.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Appointments are paid in full at the time of booking to secure your session.

If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time, as well as missed appointments, are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule, please contact me in advance and I will do my best to offer an alternative appointment where availability allows. Please note that once an appointment has been rescheduled, the fee becomes non-refundable, even if the rescheduled appointment is later cancelled.

These policies help me manage my diary fairly and ensure appointment availability for all clients. If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to get in touch.
