Most individuals benefit from 4 to 6 sessions of CBTi to help restore their sleep. However, the duration may vary from person to person, as each journey is unique. My aim is to provide you with the support and tools necessary to guide you towards achieving restorative sleep. Obstructive Sleep Apnoea
I have been performing and analysing respiratory sleep studies for over 3 decades in the NHS.
Sleep apnoea screening sleep test is performed in your home over one night to obtain the best results. The equipment used measures your breathing, oxygen levels and heart rate throughout the night. I then explain the results and provide you with a full report for you which you can give to your GP. If you require treatment for your sleep apnoea then we discuss how to move forward with that therapy.
Circadian Rhythm Disorder
Are you interested in measuring your circadian rhythm? Concerned about your sleep-wake cycle? Do you fall asleep outside of societal norms? Actigraphy is an effective tool that provides valuable insights into your sleep patterns. This service is now available to help you understand your sleep better. Two weeks of measurements and clinical report.
Do you want to retrain your sleep timings or have jet lag then I can devise a sleep timetable that will move your circadian rhythm back to your natural rhythm.

Starting or maintaining CPAP can be difficult especially when you can feel unsupported with a stretch NHS service. I will spend time taking you through your CPAP and ensure you are on the correct mask.
If you find that you have developed Insomnia whilst using CPAP I can enable you to sleep better and wake refreshed whilst using your machine.
