Hello, I am Louise, a sleep specialist with an established professional history within the NHS as a Clinical Sleep Scientist. My journey spanning over three decades in sleep diagnostics and treating sleep disorders has been fueled by my passion for aiding individuals struggling with sleep disturbances. I offer the gold standard insomnia treatment of CBTi, sleep diagnostic testing for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Circadian Rhythm disorders.
Alongside this, I have played a key role in the training and development of staff across all levels within NHS Hospitals and private wellness centres, emphasising the importance of sleep within a comprehensive approach to health.
In every endeavour, my mission remains the same: to help individuals understand the multifaceted roots of sleep issues and navigate their way to restful nights and healthier days.
My expertise in the field of insomnia treatments has been honed under the training of preeminent figures in sleep science and CBTi experts. This includes the esteemed Professor Jason Ellis, Director of the Northumbria Sleep Research Laboratory, and the distinguished Colin Espie, Professor of Sleep Medicine at Oxford University. Also Michael Perlis and Donn Poynser both high in the establishment and research of Insomnia and CBTi.
I am offering the extending its benefits to individuals aged 12 and over.
My goal is not only to provide comprehensive sleep solutions but also to empower my clients with knowledge and understanding, working together, towards improved sleep health.
I can offer either face to face or online appointments to be accessible to everyone.

Menopause affects almost 50% of the population and yet most women remain uneducated in our society, although this is improving. I have completed training in all aspects of menopause and health. Taking my knowledge of sleep and combining it with my menopause training allows me to offer specific help from perimenopause through to post-menopausal symptoms.
I can offer individual help or a corporate lunch and learn to work environments to support all staff in understanding all aspects of menopause including work related issues to reviewing HRT therapy.
I understand that using a CPAP machine can be challenging, and you may need support during tough times. With three decades of experience initiating and supporting CPAP therapy for thousands of patients within the NHS, I recognise the constraints of time in NHS clinics. Sometimes, you just need more time to learn how to use the equipment effectively and to start feeling better.
It's not uncommon for patients to experience insomnia alongside CPAP therapy, which can impact the efficiency and usage of the device—an issue that the NHS often struggles to address.
I am here to help you master the use of your CPAP machine.
Additionally, I carry a small stock of masks and can ensure you find the correct fit for optimal comfort.
