Since 2023, I have been invited to take part in The Big Retreat in Pembrokeshire, where I had the pleasure of delivering talks and leading discussions on insomnia, sleep health, nutrition, and circadian rhythms. These sessions also provided an opportunity to explore what sleep truly means to individuals, to answer questions, and to guide people towards evidence-based techniques that support healthier, more restorative sleep.
From 2026, I will be speaking not only at the Pembrokeshire Big Retreat once again, but also at the newly launched Cambridgeshire Big Retreat, expanding this work to reach an even wider audience.

Sleep has always been such an important part of our lives, yet when it became disrupted it often left people feeling frustrated, exhausted, and low in mood. Many of us recognised that familiar struggle — feeling fatigued and sleepy during the day, yet lying awake and restless at night.
Participants joined us for a welcoming and informative workshop where we explored the ins and outs of sleep together. We discussed what healthy sleep looked like and shared practical, evidence-based strategies to help improve it. We took a closer look at common sleep disruptors such as worry, stress, medication and pain, and discovered a range of effective therapies that could be tried. Attendees also learned simple, no-cost changes they could make in their daily and evening routines to support better sleep.
Due to the positive response, we are pleased to confirm that further workshops and related events are being planned for 2026.

Menopause Seminars: A Holistic Approach to Workplace Wellbeing - In house seminar
Providing menopause education in the workplace is essential for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees. As more women experience menopause during their careers, it’s crucial for organisations to address this natural life stage openly and informatively. By offering education on menopause, employees can learn about its various symptoms, including hot flashes, mood changes, and sleep disturbances, which can significantly impact daily life and work performance. This awareness not only helps to reduce stigma but also promotes understanding among colleagues, creating a more empathetic workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
